Denver Hmong Alliance Church (DHAC) was established on May 18, 1979 with 448 members and was the third Hmong church established in the Hmong District of The Christian & Missionary Alliance. Reverend Solo Xiong (Kx. Xuslus Xyooj) was the first pastor and served from June 1979 to October 1985. As a newly established church, DHAC found their temporary home to worship at the Lakewood Christian Fellowship Church located in Lakewood, Colorado. In the fall of 1982, due to overcrowding, DHAC relocated their Sunday service to the Hmong District office building (Hauvpaug Koomhum Moob Qha Txujmoo Zoo) located in Lakewood, Colorado. As space continued to be an issue, DHAC moved to holding two Sunday services and began the process of finding a permanent home. By God's provision, DHAC became the first church in the Hmong District to purchase a church building on May 18, 1983 in Westminster, Colorado.
On September 27, 1990, DHAC purchased their first parsonage located 10 minutes from the church property. As the church continued to grow, a need arose to expand the building. In 1991, Bonney Visser donated time and materials to build an expansion to the church property which included an eating area, kitchen, and additional classrooms. This expansion is known as the Multipurpose Room today and continues to be used to support the Children's Ministry and various event and functions.
In 1988, DHAC sent members to plant Rocky Mountain Hmong Alliance Church (RMHAC), which merged with Boulder Hmong Church on June 1, 2003 to form First United Hmong Alliance Church (FUHAC).
By God's grace, DHAC continues to worship today in the very same building that was purchased in 1983.
